FAQs

Can I see samples of final products?

Yes! We’re happy to share preview clips, excerpts from transcripts, and sample pages from storybooks so you can get a feel for the tone, quality, and aesthetic. Because our work is deeply personal, we only share samples from families who’ve given us explicit permission. Reach out and we’ll send you a curated preview folder.

What’s the typical timeline from start to finish?

Most projects take about 4 to 6 weeks from your initial discovery call to the delivery of your final keepsakes. That includes a planning session, the in-person interview, editing, and preparing your selected deliverables.

We also encourage families to schedule well in advance—especially for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, or estate planning milestones. The earlier we begin the planning process, the more intentional and smooth the experience will be. Our calendar books up quickly, and thoughtful preparation leads to a better, more meaningful result.

Can I help shape the interview questions or topics?

Absolutely. In fact, we encourage it. After booking, we meet with you to co-create a custom interview guide based on the themes you care about most—childhood, migration, parenting, love stories, values, you name it. This is your family’s story—we’re here to help shape it thoughtfully.

We also provide a few example questions to spark ideas and help your loved one feel relaxed and ready.

How is my family’s information kept private and secure?

Your family’s privacy is a top priority. All recordings and materials are securely stored on encrypted drives and password-protected cloud platforms until we deliver it to you, at which time we no longer possess the data. We never share or use any part of your interview without your explicit written consent. You’ll have full control over how and with whom the information is shared.

Can I give this as a gift?

Yes! Our storytelling experiences make meaningful gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, or holidays. We offer printable gift certificates and can even coordinate scheduling with your loved one on your behalf.

Reach out and let us help you give a story that lasts forever.
